What this service is

HomeCover HQ is an introduction service and an independent data site. We publish measured insurance and housing figures and pass consumer enquiries to independent licensed insurance agents. We are not an insurance carrier, agent or broker; we do not sell, solicit or negotiate insurance and we do not bind coverage. Any policy you buy is a contract between you and the carrier through its licensed agent; verify an agent's state license before buying.

How we are paid

Licensed agents pay us for qualified enquiries. This never changes the price you pay, and nobody can pay us to alter the figures in the rates index.

The rates index

Figures in the rates index derive from the NAIC's published state average premiums and US Census ACS records under the methodology stated on each page. They describe published filings and Census counts, not quotes or offers: your own premium depends on carrier, coverage and property. You may quote or embed any figure with attribution and a link to the page it came from; the embed snippets on each page do exactly that.

No warranty

The site is provided as-is. We work to keep the data accurate to its stated sources and dates, but we make no warranty about the outcome of any insurance purchase or claim.
